Life is so beautiful.
Sometimes humanity forgets that, I forget that at times. Sometimes the meaning of beauty
is forgotten, misunderstood, and lost.
Beauty encompasses change. Change can be painful at times, but it is from those painful moments
we gain clearer sight of what makes us happy, or at the very least what certainly does not make us
happy.

happy.
We enter this world, this plane of existence, as blank slates - empty pages that get written in with
experiences that form stories which grow into chapters to create a book, a novel of our existence
and a living record of our life.

I am only in chapter 4 of my life.
At the end of each day, I fall into a deep slumber as a slightly different person, having faced new
challenges and learnt solutions to old and new problems. At the end of each day, I grow into a
slightly changed person. Change takes place every second, minute, and day; and in a lifetime I
become multiple new people. What was best for the variant of me yesterday, may not work for the
version of me tomorrow.

That is the beauty of life.
It makes me cry; it makes me smile.
A recent illustraiton I did of Trillium ovatum (western trillium).
The western trillium flower goes through a beautiful change in its life cycle:
starting out with bold white petals that turn a elegant purple as it is about to reach
the end of its course. I find it poetic.
I have cropped my name out of this image,
but if you end up sharing, please credit this blog, thank you.
